Camper Guidelines

Parents are responsible to review the guidelines below with their child prior to attending Fun in the Son summer camp.

1. Campers are always to show respect toward other campers, leaders, and all facilities. 
2. All on-campus rotations and activities are mandatory.
3. Campers are to stay within the designated boundaries at every location and facility. 
4. Closed-toed shoes must be worn at all times, unless told otherwise for a water activity.
5. Absolutely no drugs, alcohol, tobacco, firearms, or knives are allowed at camp. 

6. Personal toys, electronic games, and devices, including cell phones, are not allowed at camp.

 

Parents will be charged for any deliberate damage done to the property by their child.

 

Attending Fun in the Son summer camp is a privilege. If a child continues to disobey Fun in the Son guidelines without improvement, or if their behavior threatens camper safety, they may be asked to leave the program. Our #1 goal is camper safety to ensure a great, positive environment for everyone.

Attendance Policies

Tuition is charged weekly, regardless of the number of days your child will be at camp. 

LATE PICK-UP FEE: We are open from 7:00am to 6:00pm.  There will be a $1.00 charge per minute for any late pick ups. (This means that if your child is signed out at 6:04pm, there will be a $4.00 charge.) Late pick up fees must be paid upon pickup. You may choose to either pay in cash/check or authorize Fun in the Son to charge your card on file.  

Illness Policy

We want to keep our campers as healthy as possible! If your child had a fever, diarrhea, or thrown up within the past 24 hours, please do NOT bring them to camp without a doctor's note. If your child has been around somehow who has been sick, please keep them at home. We would like to prevent the spreading of germs as much as possible! Thank you :) 

If your child is sick and misses an entire week of camp, we will allow your child to attend another week of camp in its place, pending space availability and the doctor's note. In order for this offer to be valid, you must notify us of your child's illness by 8:00am each day they miss. If you know that your child will miss a few days due to the type of illness, you may indicate that on the first day. 

Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATION POLICY: If you need to cancel a week, please email funintheson@ccyl.church. There will be no refunds for cancellations made after June 16, 2023. 

CHANGE SCHEDULE POLICY: If you need to switch weeks for any reason, please email funintheson@ccyl.church and we will make the changes depending on spot availability. 

WITHDRAWAL POLICY: If a student is withdrawn from Fun in the Son by June 1, 2023, you will receive a refund of the amount paid, minus the registration fee.
